Courses
Pre-K and K
Prek and K affords students an exploratory experience, exposing them to early learning goals that are re-introduced in later grades. It gives them the opportunity to develop social/emotional skills, improve motor and listening skills and rule following.
Grades 1 – 6
Elementary classes include English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Bible, Music Physical Education, and Art. Weekly they participate in a supportive Biblical approach to Social/Emotional learning entitled "Kingdom Seekers." They are engaged in group learning, STEAM projects, and interactive hands-on assignments all from a Biblical perspective. Responsible, cooperative, character-building behavior is modeled and encouraged by the teaching staff.
Grades 7 – 8
Our secondary students are looked at as individuals with individual learning needs. As we strive to ensure that each child's needs are met currently and for the future, students benefit from guidance counseling in regard to course selection, college preparation, and future planning.
Grades 9 – 12
Our 9-12th grade students are offered the option of adding additional courses through NorthStar Academy. NorthStar has nearly 200 course offerings that include AP courses and Dual Enrollment courses. AP courses and Dual Enrollment courses allow students to obtain college credit while still in high school.
